Weegee is the primogenitor of the Weegee virus.
The Weegee virus is an infection transmitted by Weegee or another -gee guy looking at you, or else being stabbed by a Weegee Knife. It turns you into either a Weegee clone or a -gee version of yourself, making it somewhat like a zombie virus.
Scientifically, the Weegee virus is an STD (Stare Transmitted Virus)

- Undefeatables and Triforced Link, among a select few others, are immune to the Weegee Virus.
- Reflecting the Weegee Virus back at a -gee-person (through use of the Golden Pan or otherwise) will turn them into a -geegee version of themselves.
- Somehow getting a -gee person to look at Oxi-Clean will turn it into Oxiweegee.
