It was made in China by the American company Cheap Phones to compete with Apple's iPhone after Steve Jobs failed miserably to get Walter's money and trust in the second cell phone market. They marketed to him it being "Just like Bowser's iPhone but for you, the epic meth king!" but Walt saw through their deception cuz he knows the government has backdoors on iPhones.
He used it throughout Breaking Bad to do second cell phone stuff (obviously), like have affairs on his wife Skylar White Yo, and expand upon his drug trade by making important calls and stuff. He's hung up on Pepper People many times for trying to sell him peppers, and had it on him when he died.
Uses[]
As a standard phone that's stupid and not smart, there's not much you can do with it other than send SMS messages to Jesse or the cartels. It may also be used to make intercontinental ballistic calls if you feed the phonecard some money. He has also used it to deliver Pizzas to the rooves of his many enemies. But you're more likely than not using this in The Matrix to escape The Matrix, since Walt has been dead for a long time now. Also you're probably not able to use it because it's in the FBI's magnet-immune warehouse that's defended by lodsa werewolves.
