UnAnything Wiki

First, I'm going to ask Wikia Staff to give me admin and bureaucrat rights on the 8 other wikis planned to be merged into UnAnything, as well as removing the existing admins, bureaucrats, and moderators on these wikis for inactivity. Then, I need to get AStranger (who knows more about MediaWiki than I do) to write a script that imports pages, histories, and images from other wikis into this wiki. Then, this happens. Note that "upmerge" is Wikipedia-speak that typically applies to categories. In this context, it means importing the pages and images, then getting Wikia Staff to redirect the now-empty former wikis to UnAnything.

  1. Merge the 4 smallest wikis (Known Dimension, UnWario, UnSuper, and WikiForDummies) into WikiForDummies, as a "test pilot". I chose WFD because it's a general humour wiki, like UnAnything. This is to see how a merged wiki would work, before the UnUnification process actually happens. The contents of UnWario and UnSuper would respectively become the "Wario Project" and the "Superheroes Project" on the new, expanded UnAnything.
  2. Upmerge the expanded WikiForDummies into UnAnything.
  3. Upmerge Gruntipedia into UnAnything. It would become the "Halo Project" on the new, expanded UnAnything.
  4. Upmerge UnMario into UnAnything. It would become the "Mario Project" on the new, expanded UnAnything.
  5. Absorb Weegeepedia into UnAnything. I used "absorb" in this case, instead of the Wikipedia-speak "upmerge". This is because Weegeepedia articles would at first have to be copied manually, with adjustments to a. fit UnAnything canon and b. make certain characters less overpowered, before the histories and images are imported by the script. I'm making this the second-to-last step, despite Weegeepedia being smaller than UnMario, because Weegeepedia has deeper lore. Despite this being called "absorption", it would still end in Weegeepedia being redirected to UnAnything: it would become the "Weegee Project" in the end.
  6. Salvage pages from Wackishly Awesome Randomness. Despite WAR having more than 7000 pages, a lot of them have little to no usable content. This is why the goal of this step is to salvage usable pages, instead of importing the whole wiki, with thousands of pages consisting only of some variation on "coming soon, stay tuned". However, it would still end in the wiki being redirected to UnAnything when there are no more pages to be salvaged.
