Undertale is a JRPG shame in which you fall down a mountain and access a secret city in Hell full of weird monsters. It was released in 2009. You get to meet weird skeleton dude, the skeleton dude's brother, and a weirdo scientist who died! The game was nominated for a Shame Award in 2011, but it was dropped after nobody could beat it, not even the host.
Undertale was so infamously hard, and glitchy, the creator Toby Fox was fined 10 million UnDollars in cash and was sent to WaJail FOREVER.

The game makes you play as Frissy, a weirdo 12-year-old kid who fell into a secret entrance to a city in Hell who looks eerily looks like her non-existent grandaunt Charcoal who disappeared 40 years ago on the same mountain.
Act I[]

One day, a person named Frissy was exploring a large mountain attributed to a scary legend of poopy monsters putting an entrance into Hell on the mountain. Frissy tripped on a vine and fell into a large hole and died on impact. A funeral is held for Frissy, but she suddenly comes back to life and chases everybody away. This ends Act I, and you needed to buy the full version (before it was pulled off shelves).
Note: The only way the story below has been documented is from an unknown source from 2017. We don't know if it's true or not, but who cares anyways?
Act II[]
You wake up in this weird cave, and you simply walk to a flower named Flower (What, did you expect a detailed name like Flowey?? Go screw off.) Anyways, Flower says she wants to be friends, but wants to kill you and then eat you because Flowers like eating humans (they're cannibals, of course). However, a big goat mother named Tor (named after the Tor browser) kicked Flower's ass and stopped Flower from killing you. She brings you into her big ass home full of high-scale traps, which aren't supposed to be there in the first place as none of her relatives visit her (However being the weirdly nice person Tor was, she let you pass through literally EVERY SINGLE TRAP). However, Frissy got bored living there so she decided to escape. Tor was against this and kidnapped her and held her captive until Frissy died back. Friz escaped Tor and went to a weird snow town called "Snowy Village".
Act III[]
You go to snowy village and meet this weird skeleton dude named sans. He is very cool and he has brother called Papyrus. Anyways, you go on a date with him and make a snowman. Then you get into a dating fight with papyrus and then you go to a hollow park called Waterfall
Act IV[]
You go to waterfall and get chased by a living fish mutant called undyne and she chases very far away until you get to the most dangerous part of the Monster City: The core
Act V[]
You meet a dinosaur named alphys who is distantly related to Barney, anyways this robot named Mettaton breaks in and hosts a quiz show. He then kills you by turning you into a cake but you respawn. You keep exploring the core and meet a mutant spider named Muffet who wraps you up in crap until you suffocate, once you respawn, you encounter Mettaton again and you touch this dial on his backside causing him to become humanoid and you cut off his limbs. Then you encounter Asgore who loves to pee on just about Anything, after you battle Asgore, you encounter Flowey, who tangles up everyone and becomes Asriel and you must battle this almighty freak of nature until you kill him, then you and all your poopy monster teleport to back to the outside world and they immerse themselves in new lives outside of the mountain
The shame was never finished after this point, so... yeah. Dead. Gone.
Reception[]
ESRB made the game's intended audience, R+ for Really SUPER HARD, ONLY FOR 11+ and Biased Ratings rated it "Impossible".
The game's reviews were mixed, with some saying "Wow, this game is useless but really cool!!" and some saying "I HATE THIS ME STINKY WITTLE BABIE WHO CANNOT SPELL APPIE COWWECTLY >:(" The game was pulled off shelves after a controversy involving glitches and false advertising. All consumers were refunded and Toby Fox, the creator of the shame, was sent to federal prison... FOREVER.

After Undertale came out, many AUs, also known as Alternate UnUniverses, were made. Most of these are the result of the AU Machine.
- Underfell: Shitty AU where everything is edgy.
- Glitchtale: Extremely overrated YouTube series about the UnGlitchtale World.
- XTale: YouTube Series.
- Underverse: A spin-off of XTale about the Undertale UnMultiverse.
- Undertoad: AU where everybody is replaced with Mario characters.
- South Park: The Tales Below: This AU, formerly known as "South Down Under", involves everybody being replaced with South Park characters. As for who replaces Frisk, it's either Kenny or New Kid.
- Toontale: Some weird AU where everybody is replaced with characters from early 2000s TV shows.
- UnUndertale: The best AU to ever exist.
Trivia[]
- The shame takes place in Los Angeles County.
- Undertale is actually a part of the EarthBound Series, but many n00bs say otherwise.
- There is a secret ending featuring Sans and Papyrus having spaghetti for DINNER after you beat all the levels.
- There was a fabled sequel called Deltarune that was unfinished and scrapped after Toby Fox was sent to WaJail. It was to include more glitches, even worse gameplay, and bad music. Only one copy has surfaced (a build dating back to 2018), and the shame will not be finished, EVER.
- Undertale takes place in 201X which is actually 2015
