Gather around children, and let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, the UnAnything Wiki was created. The end! Oh, what's that? You want more? Very well then.

The UnAnything Wiki (or simply "UnAnything") is the greatest landmark of all the Interwebs. It's what you're looking at right now! It is run by us: the UnAnything Team, and governed by UnAnything Staff. We are now at 7,294 articles, including this one. Yes, we have an article about ourselves. I mean, who else would be so arrogant as to have an article about itself?

Our mission is to rid the world of these things called "facts" and replace them with our own biased and inaccurate research. In fact, we celebrate our research by electing pages as being "Wanted" in a tradition nobody knows the meaning of anymore. As you can see, we know what we're doing.

History

Prehistory (2006 – 2009)

UnAnything's seeds were first laid back when people were making a movie for The Da Vinci Code, enter UnMarioWiki. Made by the wicked Bowser himself, it was dedicated solely to making a twisted parody universe of the Super Mario Bros. franchise. Things were fine and dandy, until the wiki began branching out. Spam, vandalism, disputes over original content, and non-Mario articles would be very divisive, leading to a massive backdraft.

First Era of UnAnything (2010 – October 2010)

The UnAnything Wiki itself was created on January 6th, 2010, as a result of the first UnWar, a time when UnMario was at war with itself. Afterwards UnMarioWiki fell to vandals, spammers, and the totalitarian administrators, thus refugees sought out to find a new land where they could take the ideas of UnMario, and build them up bigger, better, and badder than ever before. These users created the UnAnything Wiki as a safe haven for funny content that had nothing to do with Mario.

This era first started with the creation of the wiki by, once again, Yoshikoopa. He was also accompanied by his apostles and UnMarioWiki expatriates Javilus and WhatDothLife.

Second Era of UnAnything (October 2010 – May 2011)

After the big bang, the small band of UnAnything Warriors began to grow weak. The land remained abandoned and dying. Edits were minimal, users were hard to find. There was only a single wanted article this entire year. These were the dark ages of UnAnything. UnAnything Wiki was protected during this time by Mr. Guy and TheLohoped.

Third Era of UnAnything (May 2011 – 2013)

It seemed that UnAnything was doomed to be nearly abandoned forever, but then someone else found it. This would be good, but this someone was... insidious.

Enter Captain 1, dictator of Anything Wiki. This twerp vandalised our wiki and enslaved the inhabitants of UnAnything, just to stick it to Captain 0. But then the third era of UnAnything began when Thebiguglyalien and Weirdowithcoffee (later Cheese Lord) stepped onto the scene, and kicked Captain 1 into a pit of angry spiders. With Captain 1 gone, these two magnificent, amazing, and brilliant users changed the very way UnAnything worked. A huge portion of UnAnything's content was formed during this era. Captain Nonsense and Seacactus were also notable administrators at this time.

Fourth Era of UnAnything (2014 – 2016)

UnAnything featured in "Around Wikia's Network".

The fourth era was marked by a sudden increase of users and activity. At this point, the UnAnything Team of the First Era was nearly nonexistent, though Thebiguglyalien and Seacactus stayed. PikachuDylan, DaTenthGate, and AwesomeGamer670 also became administrators at this point, as well as Attackofthecatpeople69 (who'd later be globally blocked). Due to Thebiguglyalien's initiative to advertise the wiki, new users like IMacG4articles began finding this wiki.

Fifth Era of UnAnything (2017 – 2020)

PikachuDylan, Seacactus, Thebiguglyalien would all make their last edits and AwesomeGamer670 becomes super inactive. DaTenthGate and Chilly Bean BAM! would be the admins moving forward, and without a bureaucrat to appoint new ones. Herobrine then cast a spell which sent most the old users to The Pit of Retirement... The cohorts of MountWario (later Scampton), Vesta, and HippyDippyHoop5 would be the start of a resurgence for UnAnything. Attackofthecatpeople69 would also make a comeback be as KamafaDelgato021469, to suspicion from some.

DaTenthGate would be promoted to Bureaucrat by Fandom staff, and the wiki would flourish for years to come, with life flourishing at every corner, if average in quality. Cg097, DaGabestaNew, KamafaDelgato021469, Scampton, and VestaServal would get a promotion to admin for the sole purpose of clearing out the candidates for deletion. Lots of high quality articles would be written, and the templates would be improved, along with coherent lore projects starting due to Vesta, DaTenthGate and KMF. Cyberman18, KogaraAikoKun11, and PangolinBatAxolotl would become regulars also, and later get promotions as well. However HippyDippyHoop5 would lose access to his old account, and would become HippyDippyHoop6.

KamafaDelgato021469 would be globally banned again and come back stronger as KATMAKROFAN, this time a bureaucrat, marking the end of the fifth era.

Sixth Era of UnAnything (2020 – August 2021)

The sixth era is regarded as the most unstable era of UnAnything. For while the power levels were manageable when DaTenthGate was the only Bureaucrat, KATMAKROFAN now being a bureaucrat made things shakey and the balance of power was now on the side of evil.

The average IQ of all the users declined when KATMAKROFAN would semi-merge this wiki with the soon-to-be-deleted Stupidity Wiki. Lots of spam pages would be carried ported over, with the mess being worse than that time Mario went to Isle Delphino. Because of those spam pages being removed, it seemed as if UnAnything was doomed to be deleted, The 4,000th Page would be caught in this crossfire too, but fears would soon be quelled. Some time around here GNE0001 (later WellFiredToast) joined UnAnything.

Come June of 2020, UnWar II would begin and end, and after that all the guys from before the Fifth Era sans DaTenthGate were gone. Most admins who started editing in the fifth era would become bureaucrats, almost the complete opposite of the fifth era where the people with power were missing. The power, while still really unstable at least now had few legs on the side of good.

Around this time there were edit wars between the "true" version of pages. To stop these edit wars temporarily disambiguation pages called "Dispute pages" were made, which was basically like a big middle finger to anyone who actually wanted to read the wiki. KATMAKROFAN would make a new account KMFStudios, and the Cold UnWar would ensue. At the end of it all, this place reached brand new level of ugly because our overlords decided to update how things looked.

Come the new year, Cg097 and Godisgod444 would get globally banned for 3 months for self-vandalism, and take a forced break until March 2021. This is when new editors TheVeryStrangeOne45 and Horrortubby-17810‎ started editing on the wiki and became regulars. TheVeryStrangeOne45 would also edit on his alt account LostToTime23, unbeknownst to anyone at the time.

Those disputed pages from earlier now properly had what Scampton called "class trials" after the things from Danganronpa. These were ultimately successful at the goal of solving the problem Scampton created. During this time DeeDaaDooDOS (now DeeDOS69) joined our wiki.

DaTenthGate would make two big oopsies, making a controversial page, and giving the bureaucrat to TheVeryStrangeOne45: who gave it to PangolinBatAxolotl causing UnWar III to happen, and after it had all been undone DaTenthGate left forever. Sometime around here all the inactive Bureaucrats would be demoted, leaving only KMFStudios, Scampton and VestaServal as the remaining bureaucrats.

When TheVeryStrangeOne45's alt finally got banned, his main account also got banned for 2 weeks for breaking the rules, and then after that he globally banned by our overlords at Fandom staff for doing god knows what elsewhere, he started creating tons of alternate accounts, creating The UnWar on Sockpuppets (which defined the Eighth Era).

Then another UnAnything shutdown was announced by KMFStudios for like the 3rd time. But in installing potentially destructive scripts supposedly to combat the socks, WellFiredToast reported her and she was globally banned for abuse of power, marking the end to the middle ages.

Seventh Era (September 2021 – 2023)

With the cat people defeated, things became a lot more peaceful. The tense atmosphere of "What happens if I upset KMF" ceased to be, and the threat of bad prrrromotion was no more. Around this time our beloved Cg097 packed his bags and left on short notice. Scampton then backed up all of this wiki's images, so this place shall not perish from the earth.

Things stopped happening after December, as everything was in one of Porky's "Absolutely Safe Capsule"s. Come June new contributors SSBrandonAlt and UNG17210 hit the scene, and they hit hard. Those two, as well as ManlyMoronMAN and JeffTheMasterr (who would soon become admin) all began enriching the wiki with new content like wildfire, with Disney/Entertainment content, UnAnything original content, Friday Night Funkin'-eqsue Sonic.EXE content, and other stuff (respectively). KMF, now Lolcatistan apologized for her misdoings and was allowed back.

After years of serving us and staving off the sockpuppet invasion, DeeDOS69 officially retired on this wiki and left for a few months. Though as he left, the sockpuppet armada grew stronger... The UnAnything Wiki Bot was constructed after he left to fill the void DeeDOS69 left behind. It would help get UnAnything's categories back on track, as well as move The Game into its own namespace. Then 5 months later DeeDOS69 came back out of retirement to take a second tour in The UnWar on Sockpuppets. Enemy forces then feigned surrender, but then Scampton adopts the UnMarioWiki after it had been neglected for years (cuz we beat its butt so hard the first time) and is currently gave up on defeating spam and vandalism over there.

Eighth Era (2023 onward)

Strange (now TheBlackRock77) comes over to UnMario to social engineer Scampton into becoming admin. He does some things to help, so gets allowed back to UnAnything. ManlyMoronMAN leaves for a bit, requesting his OCs get deleted, DankerMemerYT and Nikitaosx1016 follow suit, requesting their pages be deleted too. FNF-esque Sonic.EXE content eventually gets removed due to a community vote, and then were moved to the UnSonic Wiki[[UnSonic Wiki/{{{1}}}]]. ManlyMoronMAN would also come back as MostSuperiorOne1. Strange also becomes admin here thanks to Scampton's dissatisfaction with the staff for not being as active as they used to be. But Scampton realizes her mistake and soon demotes Strange. Vesna the guro girl and -helliantbrick were notable contributors during this time, making WANTED-worthy articles. Milocars92 also appeared and is trying to wa-ify the wiki on his alts, but then got banned for harassment (and then alts). MostSuperiorOne1 then made a post that he's going to leave the wiki in the future. One day later, MostSuperiorOne1 made another post that he's staying a little bit longer.

Thus, our journey ends for now.

We figured out how to make the admin font cool again. This was the last time the Oasis theme was seen.

The new FandomDesktop brought a new wiki font, and completely broke a lot of things, like the achievement text which should be on teh right.

Around this time the default font switched back to whatever your system default was, and the main page got a redesign.

Halloween in 2022 looked about the same as ever. However you may notice UnAnything Français isn't there anymore, and that's because it got killed off by the execu-thugs.

With the introduction of the Dark Theme, there was room for a new Light Theme version.

If you're wondering why some names have the font but not the colors, it's because they were honorably discharged from their duties, as opposed to dishonorably discharged.
