The UnCold War (you could also call it the Cold UnWar if you really wanted to) was a burst of tension between the Bureaucrats and Administrators of UnAnything Wiki because of user rights. The conflict was started due to disputes over the actual canon of the wiki's Timeline, as well as if KMF/Katma should be in power. It is the third UnWar to happen, happening in fall after UnWar II.

The war's theme song.

This is some context you might wanna know before reading further.

According to experts, the Stupididy Wiki was slated to be killed by FANDOM and all their pages would DIE. So what do you do when your wiki is part of the candidates for deletion? Simple! Just migrate all that stuff to another wiki, that way all the good content stays alive and well, and the people can transfer over. (There's a TL;DR at the bottom if you don't like reading) So KATMAKROFAN told them they could come here to the UnAnything Wiki and port their stuff. Unfortunately, Kamafa never actually asked anyone on this wiki if they were okay with this, and a bot merged UnAnything and Stupididy, overwriting some UnAnything articles in the process which may still be from stupididy. TL;DR: she promoted TheSnuggleKinz to bureaucrat to help out with the merge. (The spoils of this merge can be seen in the Stupididy category.)

Also before the war, there already was a big dispute over This is Bob, but don't worry it'll pick back up later. Also to be mentioned is that without anyone knowing MountWario (now Scampton) secretly retconned NaN from existence with mild additional help.

Battle of Promotion[]

Pre-Battle of The Battle for Promotion[]

Katma for some reason gets banned on the FANDOM platform for 30 days, but however she has a backup account to continue editing! So on the wiki on her new account, KMFStudios she asks the bureaucrats of this wiki Scampton, VestaServal, and DaTenthGate (Tenth was asked on the community central wiki) to give her bureaucrat.

The Battle of Promotion[]

Vesta didn't respond, and for Scampton she refused to give KMFStudios because she wanted to respect FANDOM's decision in globally blocking Katma for a month. KMF would try and revert This is Bob to her version a few times, before being blocked for a day by Scampton for trying to edit war, and KMF responded by begging for bureaucrat on her own message wall so generously provided by our benefactors enabled by Scampton, and making a callout thread about Scampton. DaTenthGate at this time would respond, but only to see that she already has been given bureaucrat back by someone else...

It was me, Dio! Nah, I'm just pulling your leg it was actually TheSnuggleKinz from earlier, told ya that was important! Anyways with bureaucratic powers, KMF and Scampton's edit war would rage on various pages such as This is Bob, Miitopia, and NaN, as well as flame war in the discussions. The Disputed Bureaucrat template was used to force compromise, however this was at the cost of canon around that character. Near this time Pegakid2012 would join the battle to try and extinguish the flame war, in attempt to bring peace.

Battle of Demotion[]

After Scampton had gotten herself enough time after her Battle Against A True Hero The World, she quickly wrote a demotion poll voice vote against the Katma account, and a day later another one against the KMF account. These would be deleted and reinstated a few times, but ultimately would lead nowhere. The Battle of Demotion would not end until after the next battle.

The Great Disputes of The Pages and Canon[]

The edit wars raged on, and Scampton added new rules to try and make them stop, but they still persisted. KMF at this time argued that having multiple pages would hurt the wiki's canon and worldbuilding. Multiple solutions were proposed, such as KMF telling Scampton to move to NonAnything, Scampton just splitting pages so it could be both ways, having community polls about which version should be canon, and much more.

Scampton splitting the Our Country/Hammer Island article would be followed by HippyDippyHoop6 revealing that the whole snafu made him sad, leading to a blog post explaining how he believed he started the war when in fact, the war could have been prevented. Hoop's grief stemmed from an edit on the Miitopia page where he reverted it to being the UnWorld equivalent of Tasmania rather than a country on Kittehlandia, essentially making it how CrazyMew37 originally planned it to be. KMF edited it back to her version, complete with an incredibly snappy summary that called Hoop out. Regardless of what Scampton says, Hoop continues to hold his sentiment even now in 2025.

But the war would pretty much come to an end when small time editor WalkingBird made his "A Few Suggestions" thread, suggesting two options:

  1. Put KMFStudios on a strike system, basically, if she does a problematic thing, a strike gets added. If she reaches the limit, she will get demoted.
  2. Create an elaborate video project for YouTube giving an in-universe explanation about why there are alternate versions of articles, where a satanic number captain named Captain 666 teams up with the reanimated corpse of Cyber-Dee, an evil clone of Chuck Norris, and Mr. Bean himself to rid the UnUniverse of the funny. Guys like Jack Frost, Kaptain Skurvy, Randy Warthog, King Dedede, Heavy Weapons Guy and the like would work together to save the day. Also Monokuma would appear and do a thing at some point, and then the UnUniverse splits (but then comes back together 6 months later). That's how Hoop remembers it at least.

The second option became more popular since it left nobody at the curve, and at this time KMFStudios would promote 5 new bureaucrats (some of which were new users) to try to make things more even, and stopped trying to make her versions more canon over other people's. The only problem is that when everyone's a bureaucrat, anarchy ensues! Due to this, Scampton approached the FANDOM staff to do something about it.

Battle of Demotion Continued[]

The war truly ended a day later, as Scampton contacted FANDOM and they demoted the new bureaucrats. Some of these former bureaucrats were just made administrator instead, so that's nice.

Closing words[]

In the grand scheme of things, the split timeline project ultimately fell out of relevancy. Everyone forgot about it, and once it was remembered, it was considered to be redundant due to the class trials simply rewriting the canon. Nevertheless, the project's germinating corpse gave rise to a new project in the following years. Hopefully, UnWar III won't have to happen. Nevermind, it happened JUST HALF A YEAR LATER. OH MY GOD!!!
