A triangle is a polygon with three sides and 180 degrees on the inside angles. They are known for being the shape with three sides, obviously. They have many uses in life, such as their good tessellation, and on danger signs telling your silly little bottom to not do something. Triangles are also divided into a set of species, known as the equilateral, icosceles, right-angle and scalene triangles.
- The equilateral triangles are freaks that want everything to be orderly, explained by the fact all of their angles are 60 degrees. Also, they are the easiest to tessellate.
- Isosceles triangles are cocky jerks who think they're the best triangle because they're commonly the tallest. However, they can sometimes be short, which just makes them angry little freaks. Two of their angles are the same, but one is different.
- Right angle triangles are very chill guys that like to sit against walls comfortably because of their 90 degree butt. They are a nice looking triangle. Also they have a long line called the hypotenuse and the length of it can be calculated with the Pythagorean theorem, invented by some super old Ancient Geek.
- Scalene triangles are COMPLETE MANIACS!!! All of their angles are different, which means they are absolute oddballs! They tend to have chaotic behaviour and cause a lot of trouble. So you better watch out.
Usage[]
- A triangle was made sentient, and it became the Dancing Triangle.
- Triangles have a form of food based off of them, known as Doritos. They are shaped like triangles, and are very delicious.
- Triangles have their own set of numbers, known as "Triangular numbers". They are a consecutive list of numbers in a pattern added up; for example, 15 = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5. Numberblock 15 recruited the Numberblock versions of these numbers into an illegal undercover spy business for no reason other than for jokes.
- Triangles were able to turn themselves into their own instrument, known simply as the Triangle. Despite being a very pitiful, useless instrument, they still inhabit Melody Street oddly enough.
- Tinky Winky dons his antenna in the form of an upside-down triangle, presumably because he's affiliated with the Illuminati, an organization whose main emblem is in fact, a triangle with an eye in the center. He dons the polygon upside-down for purposes of seclusion.
Trivia[]
- If you put two right angle triangles together, you can make a square.
- Nobody knows for certain why the Ancient Geeks chose to call them 'triangles' and not 'triagons'. Neither does anybody know why a rectangle is called a 'rectangle' and not a 'rectagon'; the prefix 'rect-' doesn't even have much sense that would be made out of its origins if it ever were more frequently used.
- Right triangle have closely related to the pythagorean formula.
- Triangles are lethal in Lobotomy Dash.
