Total Drama is a reality show hosted by some weirdo that goes by the name Chris McLean that gives off the impression that it is supposed to be a basic reality show, the producers actually make their money with bets on who will die first.
The contests are led by Chris McLean and his murderous assistant Chef Hatchet. Though many people have come and gone over the years, a few contestants have become fan-favorites (mostly for surviving), and therefore appear more often:

The show was eventually put to an end by the son of two contestants, Thomas Jones. He stormed in riding a dinosaur, shooting fire at everything in sight.
