As a fire truck, Tobot R is equipped with standard firefighting gear, like a hammer and axe. A fire truck is no fire truck, however, without a trusty water hose - or, in Tobot R's case, his Water Cannon, used to douse fires and overpower enemies. He's also got some pretty long hoses; though they're usually attached to the Water Cannon for firefighting, they can also function as grappling hooks on their own, he can combine with Tobot W, C, and D to form Quatran.
While on camping, Tobot R saw Sideswipe and Sunstreaker in danger as they were holding on a broken pipe near the ravine, then him, Inferno, Dire and Mighty Guard came to the rescue together! After that, he saw Bob the Builder planning the Cementygas by one of his stupid machines Dizzy to slow down Pron in his Police mode, before that, he put it out and Pron went after Bob in his said mode.
The Water Cannon's stream is significantly bubblier. This move was unnamed in the dub and the command was just "Water Cannon". Which means that the Water Cannon Beam is way strong enough to defeat Megatron and his fool minions, until Red Alert showed up, the city was in pain by Bob the Builder who was now the member of the Decepticons, then Tobot R's leader/boss Tobot X defeated Bob down and saved the day.
