Super Mario 2D Land

Super Mario 2D Land is a shame made by Nintendo which takes place in the 2D^nd Dimension. It's the prequel to Super Mario 3D Land that was made after it. It's one of the most crappy shames in the first part, but becomes really better as the shame goes on. This shame takes place some time after Super Paper Mario. You play it on your Nintendo 2DS.

Story[]

The shame starts out pretty slow. Mario wakes up in his house one morning and realizes he is 2D. He realizes "oh crap! I'm 2d!" and then proceeds to climb his magic beanstalk to go free the 2D Lands from Bowser, who's also captured Peach.

Lands[]

Mushroom 2D Land[]

It's a world made out of mushrooms. It's like the normal Mario level except you're always 1,000 feet in the sky, and when you fall off you have to start the entire land again. You face off against Evil Guy in an eating competition to see who can eat every single mushroom on this land before moving on to the next land.

Ice 2D Land[]

You're really restricted in movement since you've gained 500 pounds from eating and becoming fat, and break all the ice you walk on so you're forced to walk on the snow. The bad guys can run on the ice and usually ambush you from it. Instead of jumping you gain the ability to punch bad guys into oblivion and make them DIE. The land freezes off 100 pounds, making the next world not so hard. The final boss of this world is Elsa from Frozen.

After killing her you get a text from Yoshi, his message reads "I no how u can lose all of your wait with 56 quick tricks simple life haxx n all u need to do is to go to pengwin taun n meet wit da one that knows where da pit is". So you then go there, only to be met with an ice pit you can't cross. He comes up from behind you and accidentally pushes you onto the ice where you fall into the frozen water and die of cardiac arrest.

Hell 2D Land[]

In Hell you're back to your normal weight again, but you now have your punch ability with you forever now. The reason why you go to hell is because you didn't believe the right denomination of Christianity, which is obviously Oriental Orthodoxy. You have to find water bottles whilst traversing really hard levels to stay hydrated, or else you die of heat exhaustion. There is an exclusive powerup called the Devil Flower you can get here. It turns you into Evil Mario where you get horns and can ram into bad guys but in exchange for the time on the clock ticking down faster. Devil Flowers produce Devil Fruit, but those are all eaten by Luffy.

After you make it to Satan's Castle you have to defeat his army of incubuses and get to Satan. At Satan's House in the middle of his castle you two go have dinner together, but your the one cooking since he's evil. The final boss is the refrigerator that you have to get ingredients out of and kick into brimstone. After you prepare him some chicken soup, Satan brings you back to life in the next land.

Deserted 2D Land[]

In the Deserted 2D Land, you tread through Egyptian-inspired ruin levels, searching for treasure and artifacts. There's this greedy fat bastard named Wario who's guarding the portal to the last 2D Land. Interestingly enough, if you got enough treasure before encountering him then you don't have to fight him, but you will get a worse ending if you give it to him. The fight is actually one of the best in the series: He uses his attacks from Wario Land, and even brings out his WarioWare bike out for Phase 3 where he's running away with the keys.

Time 2D Land[]

You play in a land that's entirely made of time. Time is supposed to be invisible but somehow Mario can see it, and it's black which makes the land look like that one PictoChat level from Brawl. But since when has Mario been realistic? Anyways enemies also can come back from the past to try and kill you in this bizarre landscape. One of the levels is a messed up version of 1-1 from the original Mario. All the levels if you stay in them too long you will sink into the floors where "time is slow" and die. You then go to Cranky Kong's Castle where he reveals that he was in charge of time all along, and was working for Bowser. You beat him up with his cane from when he was old and steal his time machine to go get winning lottery tickets. Your time machine breaks and you're sent to the Gas Station 2D Land 12 minutes into the past instead.

Gas Station 2D Land[]

Everywhere there's cars, gas stations, and parking lots, but thankfully you also see Bowser's Gas Emporium, which is giant and you spot massive cars which go to it. The first level has you trying to leap frog across a 120 lane stroad with cars popping in and out of the third dimension, the second level has doing sidequests for people who are too lazy to get out of their cars, and the other levels just have you playing 2D cluster truck across giant cars. Eventually you make it to Bowser's Gas Emporium, blow it up, and everything returns to 3D again.

Trivia[]

If you beat the shame, you can play though the levels again but in 3D. This requires you to have a Nintendo 3DS and won't work if you have a Nintendo 2DS.
The reason why you can play the final level over and over again is because Cranky Kong rewinds time to before you beat it, meaning this shame is technically unbeatable.
Toad is pissed that he isn't in this shame in any form.
