Spain is a country located in southwestern Europe. It is currently Spanish, and led by the royalty of Spain. Contrary to popular belief, this is a location, not a place. It was part of the Ducky Empire for a while, but Ducky gave it back to the Spanish following the 2nd Ducky War. It was later invaded AGAIN during the series of conflicts known as The Old War.

Spain was created about... three thousand years ago by a bunch of humans that are dead now. They decided that this place was Spain, a place where Spanish people could go. They made it a country, and they set up a government (how original). Spain became one of the most powerful countries in Europe.
In midevil times, Spain had knights, and they went around with their Magnums, and started shooting stuff, because these "new magic cannons" were fun. They used the magnums to become one of the most powerful nations in the world. This was bad, because one of the knights was secretly evil, and he was about to conquer the world.
The Spanish Armarda was founded to make Spain more EPIK. Said Phillip II.
Hyrule eventually bombed Spain, killing this guy, and then Spain became a good powerful nation, and everyone was happy, so they took a nap. When they woke up, Christopher Columbus went off, and discovered more places. Spain tried to get some, but then they became their own countries, and none of the European countries got any.
Ducky managed to capture Spain, adding it to the Ducky Empire, where it served as a base for various invasions of Hyrule and the Mushroom Kingdom during the 2nd Ducky War. However Ducky gave it back to the Spanish when he didn't win the 2nd Ducky War.
Obama tried to conquer Spain during The Old War so he could invade the Ducky Empire, but Ducky and his armies managed to stop him and forced him to withdraw back to UnAmerica.
Spain is now ruled by Spanish people, and they rule well, because Hyrule can't conquer them. Together, they worked to earn a Pizza Quality rating of 5, which has rendered them immune to attacks from Italy.
The Goomba Empire is currently shelling northeast Spain, also known as Catalonia.
