Not to be confused with the REAL Sonic 4.

Box Art
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Shit Edition is a fake sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Sonic 4 sucks for multiple reasons: having Modern Sonic instead of Classic Sonic (Sonic 4 is supposed to be a sequel to Sonic 3, so therefore, SEGA using Modern Sonic instead of Classic Sonic in Sonic 4 is NOT common sense, since Modern Sonic only belongs in Modern Sonic shames), being split into multiple episodes, and many other reasons that will be explained in the shameplay section.
Shameplay[]
Episode I[]
The shameplay is the similar to Sonic 1-3, but with one massive difference: the physics and momentum are AWFUL. Unlike the classic shames, Sonic 4 has shitty music, shitty graphics, reused bosses with clown-like boss music, rip-offs of existing zones (seriously, just make Green Hill for the OVER 9000th time instead of Splash Hill), only four zones (Egg Station, a rip-off of Death Egg, is more of a boss rush and a final boss than a real zone, so it doesn't count. Also, Sonic 1 has six zones, so there's no excuse), shitty versions of Sonic 1 special stages, and speaking of Sonic 1, even the ending is a rip-off of Sonic 1's ending.
Episode Metal[]
Taking place between Episode I and Episode II, Episode Metal explains why Metal Sonic returned in Episode II. Episode Metal is basically the same zones in Episode I but in different order, and you play as Metal Sonic.
Episode II[]
The shameplay is still shit, but the music and graphics are slightly better. The zones and bosses are more original, but those are basically the only good stuff about Episode II. For some idiotic reason, you have to collect all seven Chaos Emeralds again, even if you already did so in Episode I. Even worse, the shame ends on a cliffhanger, where Sonic and Tails, instead of destroying the Death Egg mk.II and freeing Little Planet, they escape and don't do anything about the Death Egg mk.II.
Episode III[]
Sonic 4 was so shit that Episode III never got released. LMAO!!!
