Social Credit refers to something that China tried to give to it's massive population depending if they do good things or commit shitty crimes against their government. Social Credit can be earned or lost by doing various things that the CCP sees as good or bad. It is currently rolling out slower than a turtle walking on soul sand and the Chinese Government can use a RoboCop-esque machine to track others social credit and reward those with high scores and punish and shame those with low scores. Social credit has been called amazing by the CCP and has been met with criticism by people outside China, unless they make memes about it. This proves they don’t know anything about the system and only like jokes.
Social Credit is kind of a currency, because it can determine what you can and can’t do. But you can’t buy anything with it so it kind of isn’t currency.
It's not just people China is ranking. They also give social credit to companies by favoring local companies and punishing western companies, which is sometimes warranted if they did something VERY BAD.
How to earn social credit[]
- Blast the Mao Zedong song
- Support the CCP
- Help the needy
- Pay your bills on time
- Actively praise the Chinese Government on one of their bootleg social media sites.
How to lose social credit[]
- Become a Discord mo-OH WAIT! Discord is banned in China so wouldn't it be a Kaiheila/Kook mod? Kaiheila and Kook (which are the same thing) are Chinese Discord clones.
- Play too many shames
- Using a VPN to bypass their Apple style walled garden internet.
- Say that Taiwan is a country (-30,000,000 social credit for you!)
- Complain
There's a lot of other stuff that I don't have time to list, but it's a LOT of things. All with rewards and punishments that I would be here forever if I were to list. So I compromise and give a few.

- Schools will REALLY want you. Why does Hell Jr. want you so badly? Well that's because having a high social credit will make you a priority for schools.
- Getting ripped like Popeye the Sailor Man by going to a gym will be free.
Punishments[]
- If your score is low enough, you could be given a public transport ban and be unable to leave.
- China will put your face on a billboard with your social credit encouraging others to make fun of you. DAMN!
- Your internet speed will become a speed that would've been fine in 1995!
