Sasha Nein, or Shoehorn (if we're going off of code names) is a high-ranking member of the Psychonauts who originally came from Germany. He is known for his discrete spying methods and occasional tracking of malevolent Thought-Forms. He is also known to be stern, cynical, but level-headed, which comes in handy when you stand in the face of some top hat-wearing psychopath who weaponizes PTSD on the regular.
Childhood[]
Sasha was born in Germany to a poor, single father. Often, the two were tasked with manufacturing shoes with little to no help from anyone else, which kinda made them mad at the UnWorld. Soon, though, Sasha discovered that he could read minds, which was magic. However, he discovered this when he saw a memory of his father going to Funkytown with his mother, which made him run away from home after being traumatized.
Then, to make everything worse, he got Shanghai-ed by Klump Skurvy and was forced to fight in King K. Rool's army as a soldier. He saw many dreadful things while stationed on a small archipelago north of Donkey Kong Country. He nearly died numerous times, whether from exhaustion, thirst, or even a fight between him and his "comrades". Soon, though, his luck would change.
First Contact[]
The first Thought-Form Sasha ever contacted was a benevolent one, thank God. At the age of 16, he found himself lying on the beach, about to pass out from heat exhaustion. This was when some tall, dark figure stepped out from the ocean and started dumping water on him, and even attempting to move him to the nearby shade. Sasha tried to follow him, but was given a warning in the form of a psychic transmission.
On your journey, be wary of those like me. Some are good, some are evil. Believe me, there's more of the latter...

The Psychic Era[]
Soon after this, he managed to get to the US, where he was hired by the Psychonauts to track Balan, who was known for his frequent usage of Horror Shows. One night, Sasha shot him four times and fled the scene. Balan is currently in the hospital because of this, but the doctors think he's gonna DIE.
Trivia[]
- Somebody actually put a bounty on Balan's head a little while before he was shot by Sasha. We still don't know who it was.
- Sasha now has millions of UnDollars after being paid.
- Sasha has had to deal with Cogs before, mostly because of their unethical human experiments escaping. This isn't part of his job, he just really hates the Cogs for "no particular reason".
- Sasha is Raz's mentor.
- Sasha is also Milla Vodello's boyfriend.
