Ruby is a sentient gem who gets very excited over everything, including The End and Beyond. Whenever she gets excited, her eyes will start glowing and she'll start bouncing all over the place because the amount of energy she possesses is close to OVER 9000. The reason why she's excited is because she eats a lot of sugary stuff, most notably gumdrops and never really cared about eating anything else. Whenever she ISN'T acting crazy and ridiculous, she mostly hangs around with her fellow FreeSmarters, including Pencil, but ever since BFB, Ruby hasn't been hanging out with them that much and mostly spends her time playing various shames like Call of Ducky: Ghosts or Mario Mart.
Biography[]
Ruby’s origins are unclear, but we do know that she started competing in Season 2 of BFDI, where she met Pencil and Match and became part of their alliance. Ruby was initially on Team No-Name alongside her two new friends and Book, her BFF, but when Pencil brought Bubble back to life the five of them left Team No-Name and formed their own team: FreeSmart. The gang then went on to win their first challenge, but Match was eliminated and she got sent to WaJail, putting some fear in the other four. Thankfully, that didn't stop them from winning another challenge, but Firey and Gelatin did some trolling to FreeSmart and Ruby, causing them to be up for elimination. Thankfully, Ruby survived but Firey did not and he got sent to WaJail as well. Afterwards, Ruby helped her team win the next challenges and got reunited with all the remaining No-Namers (except for Fries cause he wanted to go solo) when they needed to make ice cream for all the children as part of their challenge; they ended up losing due to their incompetence and Ruby was once again up for elimination. During this time, she noticed that Ice Cube had decided to torture Pin by having her face removed and, due to her not knowing better, decided to shrink Pin's lifeless body in the next episode. However, Ruby would later regret making that decision as Pin came back with a mech suit and electrocuted FreeSmart as punishment for their crimes and in the next episode, Ruby got eliminated and sent to WaJail. Thankfully, she came back in Season 3 and would start competing again in Season 4, where she sadly had to watch both Pencil and Match being sent to Hell by 4 and FOR SOME REASON DECIDED TO STICK WITH HIM WHEN THE SHOW GOT SPLIT AND FORTY OTHER CONTESTANTS LEFT, DESPITE WHAT HE DID TO PENCIL AND MATCH!!!!!!!!!! Whatever, Ruby got eliminated again in BFB 20 and was once again sent to WaJail, but she got reinstated by The Announcer and was able to see Flower win the show. Nowadays, Ruby has "retired" from competing and mostly spends her days playing shames and occasionally doing a review on stuff.

- Ruby was the last post-split BFB contestant to compete in BFDIA before getting eliminated.
- She also has an extended family of other gems, but most of them have either gone missing or DIED.
