BEEEEEEEEEP BEP BEEEPE BEEB BOOP BOP BEEEEP!!!!
—Boyfriend, thinking he's a robot
A robot, fundamentally, is an automated machine that performs various tasks for humans. They can often be described as any hodgepodge of technology smashed together that works automatically, and at least includes one flashing light. Most of them are humanoid, but at times some robots, such as the Transformers can take other forms. They often are programmed to do tedious chores, such as cleaning messes up, making the bed, emptying the rubbish, watering plants, and after all of that, cooking DINNER. They are thus, the only creatures that people are legally allowed to use as slaves (even though they aren't creatures).
In the hodgepodge of technology, robot developers often like to include Artificial Idiocy/Intelligence as one of the technologies. Many robots use AI, in fact, it is one of the only methods to make a robot think or be smart! Many developers like to power their robots' brains with ChatGPT, developed by Deadpool the Duck.
Most robots also function as non-living beings that are programmed to appear as living beings, a piece of certainty that shrouds them in infamy. Because of this, many assume that in the not too distant future, robots will dominate mankind. This isn't too much of a surprise considering that as of now these contraptions possess a natural drive towards efficiency and, not to mention an overwhelming amount of intelligence. Their ubiquity has managed them to spread towards the Internet, where they spread viruses for their amusement by means of scamming people. In addition, they can and do take control of many household items such as cars, phones, television sets, computers, and many other things.
