Not to be confused with Robin
Robin (from One Piece) is a Japanese pirate and archeologist that stars in the anime One Piece and is in the Straw Hat Pirates. She knows how to read ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and stuff like that.

Backstory[]
So as a little child, her mom left her to be a pirate and gain knowledge. This made Robin sad, so while her mom was gone, she went to the giant tree of knowledge on her island. She learned about ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and how to read them and about specific ones called Poneglyphs that if you travel all over the UnWorld and find them all that you will get the best treasure in the world! That treasure is the One Piece (which the show is named after). She lived on the no longer existent island of Ohara, which was blown up by Fleet Admiral Buster Baxter because they knew too much of the governments secrets. Robins mom was killed by them because she had figured out how to convert the energy from Chuck Norris’s roundhouse kick into orange juice that gives the powers of the invincible star from Mario when you drink it. Robin became really sad after seeing her mom killed in front of her so she threw a knife at the dude and took the orange juice. She ran to her giant friend with a red beard who was on the verge of death from scurvy and made him drink the orange juice. He got up and attempted to fight the whole Marines and government. He massacred 3 people before he got burned with a Fire Flower and then thrown into the ocean and died. Robin had the worst saddening in the world so she ran away so she wouldn’t die. Before she ran away, her red bearded giant friend gave her a Wumpa Fruit, and said “Eat this… *coughs* you will obtain a random power to help you run away” and then Robin ate the fruit. Then she ran away.
After she ran away, the government put a giant bounty on her head even tho she was 7. She then started doing jobs for criminals at 8 for money. She began saving up half of all the money she would earn each and every time she would do illegal jobs. Some of those guys would try to trick her into turning herself in so that they would get 100,000,00 UnDollars but they never caught her and she would always run away. She would continue to do jobs at the risk of getting captured. Her powers awakened during one particular job though…
One dude, named Crocodile, hired her at 16. He wouldn’t try to betray her, but would instead use her for her ability to read ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics or hieroglyphs or whatever. That’s why he hired her and Robin was okay with that so she accepted the job. Robin had also discovered how to use her powers and what her powers were. SHE HAS WEIRD A** POWERS!
Her powers are called "Flower-Flower" powers from the wumpa fruit. The powers she has is to be able to spawn her body parts anywhere, like by duplication. She likes to spawn her arms and hands in other places so that she won't have to get up off the couch and she can have her duplicate hands give her her Chocolate Milk. Yeah, thats just an example, but she has done that before. Here is an image to help you understand:
This is one of robins attacks, act like a spider. This demonstrates how she uses her powers to her advantage by spawning multiple arms on her body in order to act like a spider.
She would do many wrongdoings in order to earn money so she could put food on her plate until she was 20. At that age, Luffy and his pirate crew (the Straw Hat Pirates) came into Robin and Crocodile’s territory, and stayed there for a bit. Luffy and his crew were a bit nosy and were peaking in their business and stuff like that. Zoro ended up finding out their secrets and told the rest of the group. They also met Princess Vivi and they teamed up to fight the evil company owned by Crocodile.
After Luffy and his team beat up the whole company, Luffy invited Robin to the crew and Robin said yes. They would then have many fun adventures after that!
