Playing in the river is an episode of Teletubbies!: The official bootleg series. It was the 7th episode of the third season of the series and aired before the episode In the tubbycar. In the episode , the Teletubbies go to the Teletubby Land Acid River, near the Teletubby Land Hydroelectric Station’s dam and get killed as the dam activates.
The plot[]
The episode begins in Teletubby Land, where we see our teletubbies walk out of the home dome. Po puts Titan Cameraman on diaper changing duty for the Tiddlytubbies since Alt 2.0 out at a casino. Po asks where are they going. Tinky Winky says they are going to the Teletubby Land Hydroelectric station to check on the dam before it releases its excess water from the reservoir because it rained last night. They walk to the Teletubby Land Acid River and walk along its banks until they get to the dam
At the dam, they marvel at its height and wonder if it will ever stand forever. But po interrupts their daydreaming because they are here to check on the dam before the Blue Teletubby Workers (they guys who operate the dam and hydroelectric power station) are here and turn it on. Laa-Laa, Tinky Winky and Dipsy ignore Po and they start playing in the riverbed at the bottom of the dam while The Blue Teletubby workers start parking their cars on the riverbank. Po becomes worried about the Teletubbies safety but the BTWs are already racing to the hydro station.
Inside the controlling build of the Dam and Hydroelectric Power Station, Teo Blue is seen operating the dam, known as the Tubbytronic Dam. The dam is controlled by TubbyTechnics Tubbytronics technology. Teo Blue says that gates of the dam are OK, despite being excess water from the rain last night. However it is actually unsafe to open it because Tubbytronics are actually inaccurate. In reality, you have to dig a spillway on one of the reservoir sides to safely lower the dam levels, and the dam has these but still too much water. So he opens the dam gates, and a whole ton of it races out of the gates and down the river, causing it to widen and flood its banks, causing a flash flood.
Back at the bottom of the dam, the Teletubbies are digging in the riverbed for some morsels when the dam activated. Tiny Winky is playing near the river’s edge when a piece of concrete falls from the sky and hit Tinky Winky, killing him. Po comes back to see Tinky Winky floating away and she gets furious that they have been playing in the river and did Nothing, then there is an asplosion, and the dam begins crumbling away and the water rises so much that the river has been widened by the flood. The Teletubbies die and get washed away. A few weeks later in a post credits scene, Titan Cameraman is seen cleaning up the beach on the mouth of the river at the Teletubby Land Acid Lake where he finds the dead bodies, ending the episode.
