Orangutango 2: N-Tranced is the first episode of season nine of UnAnything: The Series. Coming off of the intense action seen in The End of the UnUniverse, this episode is a simple, goofy romp where Diddy Kong has to save Donkey Kong from the Teletubbies after N. Plot[]
The episode begins in Donkey Kong's Treehouse, where DK, Diddy, and Cranky are sorta fumbling around with no rhyme or reason. Donkey Kong then suddenly pulls out a barrel containing fifty pounds of dynamite. He does a funny eye pop and screams like a weirdo. Cranky Kong gives DK advice on how to dispose such a bomb. Outside the treehouse, a Breadbug is dragging a crate of Plotholium back to its den, nearby the treehouse. As the Breadbug scampers past the treehouse Donkey Kong rolls the barrel down from a gangplank, and it collides with the plotholium crate. This causes a massive explosion that makes everybody black out.
Donkey Kong wakes up in a grassy, sunny field. His treehouse is there too, but completely leveled. Diddy and Cranky are inside of it, both unconscious. Donkey Kong wanders around this pristine landscape, and thinks he has been sent to Heaven. However, it soon turns out that the exact opposite is true, for he is in Teletubby Land. He sees the Breadbug again, running around and making panicked peeping noises, before a long arm suddenly extends from the horizon, grabs Donkey Kong, and drags him into the Home Dome. The four Teletubbies have kidnapped him. N. Trance then walks in and explains that the Teletubbies don't take kindly to trespassers. Some talk gets exchanged, and Donkey Kong gets hypnotised to dance until he wears out and dies. He then announces that the Teletubby Dance to Death Competition can now commence.
It is now evening, and a flyer for the event floats down onto Diddy Kong. Diddy wakes up, and reads the flyer (all mentions of Teletubbies have been altered). He looks for Donkey Kong, and follows these depressions in the grass that appear to be footprints. They directly correlate with the directions to the location of the dance contest, in the Home Dome. He discovers a booth in front of the main entrance, with Alt 2.0 manning it. They exchange some dialouge about the dance, and Alt alludes to something that Diddy might need. Diddy pays the toll and enters the Home Dome.
As it turns out, the interior of the Home Dome has been refurbished into an auditorium. Diddy takes his seat amongst numerous Teletubby Clones. N. Trance comes center stage and speaks into a microphone, explaining how two opponents will dance until on of them tires out. N. Trance reveals the main team; Team Tubbies, consisting of the main four. To decide, "Team Muttonhead", an anvil is dropped on the head of a random dude in the audience. Diddy is the one who gets hit, so he is called upon the stage. The prize is then revealed: Donkey Kong! In order to save DK, Diddy willingly partakes in the competition.
Tinky Winky is Diddy's first opponent, and a giant wheel is spun to decide the song. It lands on Thirsty by AJR. Mercifully, a sandbag falls on Tinky Winky's head and knocks him out cold. Diddy wins, of course. Dipsy is up next, and the song Video Killed The Radio Star by The Buggles. Dipsy's robotic armor makes it easier for him to dance for prolonged amounts of time. Diddy is also pretty good, and by absolute chance, they last long enough for the song to loop! Diddy ends the round by spitting onto Dipsy's Laser Armor, causing it to short circuit. Dipsy falls unconsious, and the next round begins.
Laa-Laa is up next, and the song is California Gurls by Katy Perry. This round is pretty unremarkable, but Diddy Kong wins because Laa-Laa falls into a pit of evil guys backstage just as the song nears its end. Finally, Po is called up, and the song lands right on... Through the Fire and the Flames by DragonForce! This song is hard enough in Guitar Hero[1], imagine how bad this would be! Even worse, Donkey Kong dances to the song himself like a maniac who does not know his own strength. Debris falls from the ceiling, so Diddy Kong and Po have to dodge it as they dance. Diddy Kong sees the opportunity and pushes Po over, thus ending her run. However, this leads to backlash from both the audience and N. Trance, as cheating is not allowed unless it's a Teletubby doing it[2]. Diddy Kong and N. Trance then come to a compromise: If Diddy Kong can beat N. Trance, DK is his. Diddy Kong is also allowed to choose the song, so he picks Pink Shoe Laces by The Chordettes. This causes N. Trance to freak out and explode into milkshake like how Peter Griffin's head did after biting into a fudgesicle[3]. Noo-Noo sweeps by to clean up the mess.
With N. Trance dead, his hypnotisim wears off and Donkey Kong comes back to his senses. However, the crowd is angry, so they form an angry mob and chase the two out. DK and Diddy wake up Cranky Kong and the three try to find a way to escape. Just then, the Khufu ship sailed by Diddy Kong's people comes to the shore, and everybody boards it in the nick of time. DK, Diddy and Cranky Kong are taken to Diddy's palace, finally allowing safety. The three reminisce about how insane the day has been, and they all say goodnight and go to bed[4].
