Monika (Or Monitor Kernel Access if you want her full name) is a character from Doki Doki Literature Club, and the president of said Literature Club. She's also your girlfriend, in case you didn't know, since she deleted all of her romantic rivals.
History[]
Monika was originally a human created when Dan Salvato had a love-hate relationship for anime, and decided to create a game. At least that's what they want you to think. Monika was actually created by Metaverse Enterprise Solutions so they could figure out wether or not the UnUniverse is a simulation or not (Which it totally isn't, trust me on that.), alongside three other entities. It started in 2015, but not as what it is right now. It was published on September 22, 2017 as Doki Doki Literature Club, and the rest was history. Due to Monika's magical powers, she was able to take her and her friends out of their little confined simulation and roam the UnWorld, looking for You.
Monika can delete others in the UnUniverse as well as glitch them out, and she has the ability to create things (though she is currently pretty bad at it right now). This explains why the three other entities are nowhere to be found anymore. After competing with three different girls when you played Doki Doki Literature Club, she became your girlfriend. So now it's you and Monika. Just Monika. Forever. Well, until you recently deleted her after being trapped in a schoolhouse in space for 4 years. Anyone would go crazy after that amount of time, I'm sure.
