A Mangosteen is a cross hybrid of a Mango and Eggplant, they grow in Asia, specifically in jungles, but have a tendency to appear in tundras. You can eat this, but it tastes kinda bad...
A Mangosteen disguises itself as a Eggplant just to be a jerk, however, this is pretty stupid, as scientists found out they are healthier than eggplants. They are also overshadowed by Mangos, and hate them for that. Mangosteens are rare in shops, you can only find them in select Butter-O-Marts for some reason, otherwise, you'll have to get a tree that grows them to taste the manifesto of taste.
Tsareena was based on this species of fruit. Thank god these things exist.
