A Loquat is a species of fruit that looks like a orange, overgrown Olive with it's center sticking out. They grow in China and are used in cultural foods n' stuff. They are good in pastries and other good things, they are too similar to Kumquats to be identified as fruits by Stupid City.
Loquats were created by science in 1501 by Somebody when they took Kumquats and made them more, "Lo." It became an instant hit, and the Chinese fell in love with it. It soon became the most popular fruit in China, and that's a feat.
Controversy[]
The US Government ended speculating that China is planning to make weapons out of Loquat juice, and for a year Loquats were banned in every place in both Americas except for a VERY SMALL portion of Ohio. But it was so popular that someone would smuggle Loquats from China to the Americas, but China eventually convinced the US and other places that they weren't going to do that, West Brazil is the only place in both Americas that Loquats are still banned in, because Dipsy hates Loquats.
