The Linux Logo
Linux is a big family of operating systems that can run on any computer.
Linux was based on the hideous and obscure operating system Unix in the 80s by Linus Torvalds. It was super complicated and no computer could run it except MS-DOS or some crappy computer like that. Linux become slightly less evil over time. Today, Linux is the most pure good family of operating systems out there.
Bill Gates hates Linux because it's too hard for him to learn, and he wants people to get Windows instead so that he can make money. Linux, however, is very superior to it, as it costs no Money, is easy to use (Sometimes), and has a Mascot, Tux the Penguin. Even Andrew Tate can use Linux.
Community[]
The Linux Community is full of people like You. They kind of suck sometimes, but when you don't know Math, they can be helpful sometimes. Just don't bring up Nano, and you'll be fine.
Differences from Windows[]
Unlike Windows where each version of an operating system is very different, each new edition of Linux isn't that much different from the last. For example, Linux Mint version 21 isn't much different from version 20. Unlike Windows (Except MS-DOS), Linux uses a Command Line, which often scares people as stupid as You where you type in a power called Sudo.

Linux has many different distributions which are very different from one-another and nothing like each other. These distributions may be as similar as Windows 10 and Windows 11, or as different as Windows and Macintosh.
