Kappa (Scientific name Anatetsaurus sapiens) are Cucumber eating monsters that kinda look like turtles or ducks. They are native to Gensokyo, and their numbers decreased once the land was less desolate, but they are still common in the area as of today. They are mistaken by Uncultured Yankee Pigs to be generic monsters, but they are actually Yōkai, a freak from Japan. They cannot be approached or else they may strike.
Kappa have an unhealthy obsession with Cucumbers, to the point where a beer was made by Kappa, which is made of cucumbers, they are also violent, and pull guys underwater to eat them for DINNER, a human limb and sauteed cucumbers go good with chopped liver. They also have detachable limbs, Chuck Norris can detach them just by flicking their arms, they also freeze if that water bowl spills, then you can through them in Mt. Fuji and never see them again.
Kappa have been banned from Pickle Land because cucumbers look like pickles a wee bit, so the Kappa just drop iron balls on their heads, problem solved! Kappa cannot surface in winter or else they will die from freezing in place, the Pickle race took advantage of this by persuading Ducky to drop Snowtomic Bombs into their ponds, but they always dodge this somehow, therefore, Kappa have teamed up with Vlasic to slaughter ALL pickles!
