Kanaya Maryam is among the Twelve Homestuck Trolls, and like them, she fights for justice. Some people judged her just because she had a chainsaw for a weapon.

Like the other eleven Homestuck trolls, she represents a Zodiac sign, Virgo, and the thing is that there is one element per three signs, and it is Earth for Virgo (Along with Taurus and Capricorn).

Since that, she bears the element of Earth (Along with Tavros Nitram (Taurus) and Gamzee Makara (Capricorn)). However, unlike them, she has bonus space powers.

Her signature color is viridian.

She is also the president of Portugal.

Unfortunately, she and Gamzee Makara don't get along very well.

She is also a plant lover, though the only reason she uses a chainsaw for a weapon is because they're Spooky.

While on YouTube, DeviantArt, Facebook, and even 8chan (She hates 4chan), she talks about how bad the Super YouTube Friendship Agreement Organization is.
