Jeanette Miller is a female chipmunk who was heavily involved with The Chipmunks (the pop-rock band Simon Seville was involved with) as a tour manager. Jeanette is known for being very clumsy and anxious, often overthinking the simplest of things. She's naive and a bit scatterbrained, but she has a good heart.
Jeanette is sort of a therapist for Simon, she listens to him vent about his brothers and how he feels responsible for their deaths. She tries to give her best input, but knows she can't really help him all that much, as she's not that familiar with psychology (she graduated from UnSchool with a degree in biology, after all).
She lives in fear of consequences for her past actions (ie. not cutting Alvin off after a few too many drinks, causing him to nose-dive off of the stage during a concert and break a few ribs) coming back to haunt her. Just the thought of being held liable for the decisions she made as a stupid kid keeps her up at night. She doesn't fear death, though, at least not to the degree of her boyfriend.
Jeanette's younger sister, Elanor, is still alive, so she isn't entirely alone in this world. Her older sister, Brittany, however, was burned alive in the Seville house while having fun with Alvin, completely unaware of the smoke that would later choke them and drag them to the afterlife.
