Dyes Iwasaki (known mostly by her surname) is a Japanese-UnAmerican woman who goes on adventures with her beloved husband Topham. The two of them met during the Gold Rush, when she was still married to her abusive ex-husband, but he disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Long story short, the two have been together since. Iwasaki may seem petite and waifish, but she can hold her own against several goons. She also enjoys a cold sip of wine every once in a while, too, which may influence her.
She, like her husband, has a hatred for Balan, but tolerates him quite a bit more than her spouse. She's on good terms with Foodini, as well, but how could you not be. "He's a sweetheart," Iwasaki once said when asked about him. She also has friends beyond the gang, who are mostly other girls who she's met along her adventures. She severely detests Cool Guy, but somewhat understands his motives.
When she first moved to UnAmerica, Iwasaki had actually put job applications in multiple places before (officially) being hired as a waitress. One of these places was WarioWare Inc., before all the slavery stuff came out. She wasn't hired, though, because of her lack of game developer skills (but they still hired Kat and Ana, who are literal children). To this day, she says she dodged a bullet.
