I'm not AVGN; I'm my own OC: Irate Gamer! Irate Gamer
The Irate Gamer is an alcoholic, dead/resurrected shames reviewer who often reviews retro/terrible shames. Sound familiar? If so, then you already know the truth: The Irate Gamer is a foil to the Angry Video Game Nerd, meaning that he is his rival and is very similar to him. Now, many people think that the Irate Gamer is just another lame ripoff who tried to ride on AVGN's coattails. The truth, however, is much more complicated.
Eventually, he got clawed to death by Ceiling Cat, Basement Cat, Dunecat, Gravity Cat, Grumpy Cat, Happycat, Invisible Cat, Keyboard Cat, Monorail Cat, Nyan Cat, and Trashcat.
Origin and Backstory[]
The Irate Gamer was once just a mild-mannered AVGN fan until he decided that his idol, the Angry Video Game Nerd, was not paying enough attention to him. Heck, NOBODY was paying attention to him. Therefore, he decided to take matters into his own hands by making his own shame reviews. They were very similar to AVGN's reviews, as the Irate Gamer created his reviews as an homage to AVGN himself. However, he made one fatal flaw: he forgot to credit AVGN as his inspiration. Word spread quickly that an AVGN ripoff was making his own reviews, and AVGN was furious. To add insult to injury, the Irate Gamer's videos actually had more views than AVGN's for a short period of time. Enraged, AVGN summoned his sidekick, Mike Matei, and together, they banished the Irate Gamer for good. That is, until he revived himself by becoming Irate Gamer Neo. (NEO actually stands for Not Even Original, nothing to do with the NEO Suit)
Life as Irate Gamer NEO[]
Now that Irate Gamer NEO had appeared on the stage, he was ready to avenge his exile, imposed upon him by AVGN and Mike Matei. However, nobody paid attention to him. In fact, the only difference between Irate Gamer and Irate Gamer NEO was that the latter reviewed modern games instead of old ones. Everybody was certain that Irate Gamer NEO was a talentless hack, and so he lost his fame and fortune.
