The iPhone 12 (also known as the iPad 3) was made when Tim Cook, being smart, made up his own idea for an Apple product that went against Steve Jobs' will. He made an iPhone with lots of memory and a gigantic screen (unlike the concept in Steve's will, which had a screen that was the same size but had the same amount of memory as the iPhone 1). The iPad 3 is the same as the iPhone 12, but in a different package, no phone app, and with "iPad 3" on the back instead of "iPhone 12" (unlike the concept in Steve's will, which was just an iPhone 7 with a package that said "iPad 3"). Lots of people use the iPhone 12 and iPad 3 because they are the first good iDevices since the iPhone 7.
