Gregory (not to be confused with Greg Heffley) is the second most powerful rat after Charles Entertainment Cheese, since he invented the Horror Show. He also invented the concept of rent, but he "invented" it in the same way Apple "invented" the computer mouse. This means that, to be blunt, he didn't invent rent. That was Tom Nuke. Gregory owns a hotel known as Gregory House, named that way because Gregory is a huge fan of Dr. House. His hotel is much more like an apartment complex than a proper hotel, though, with various tenants living day-to-day life here.
Despite the amount of guests who stay there, Gregory isn't that popular among a few of them. One day, Judgment Boy nearly beat him to death with one of his cages after he brought up raising the room prices. Admittedly, they were free before, so making somebody pay ANY AMOUNT for a room after that is ridiculous. Even though this never went into effect, J.B. still hates him with a burning passion. In fact, he hates him so much, he and his buddies (along with a hacker) have review-bombed Gregory House on nearly every review service, including Biased Ratings, Squadala Ratings, and even Google's business pages. Gregory still doesn't know.
Another time, Gregory had gotten mad at a guest for smashing a hole in the wall, and his anger boiled over so much that he sent that guest into a state of paralysis. This, my friend, was the first Horror Show. Although it was an unintentional incident, Gregory soon began to cultivate it. He worked on it, analyzing every aspect of it...
And then he gave up and threw the spell in the garbage.
Promptly, Balan stole it and taught all of his eldritch friends about it, and Gregory was left in the dust. However, these friends in question soon realized what happened, and simply consider Gregory the originator of this unholy magic.
