Luigi Dies: The Shame

Luigi Dies: The Shame, also known as Super Mario 129: Luigi Dies in Japan, is a shame created by Nintendo for the Nintendo's Witch where Luigi dies. Yup. That’s the whole shame. And of course, everybody hated it, especially Luigi fans. Due to how simple the shame is, Nintendo is planning on porting it to as many consoles as they can.

Plot

One Day, Luigi was doing nothing, and then he died. The end.

Shameplay

The game opens with a startup screen that shows a picture of Luigi with text that reads: "Luigi, does he die; or does he live? You decide!" If the A-Button is pressed, the player is taken to another screen that shows a picture of an alive Luigi. If you do anything (breathing, pressing the A button, not pressing the A button, etc.) Luigi dies. Since he is dead, there is nothing on the screen but blackness, leaving the player to evaluate their life choices, like why they decided to spend $60 dollars on this game, or why they decided to play a game where Luigi dies when they love Luigi a lot.

Development

One day, Shigeru Miyamoto saw Wario try to kill a poster of Luigi. But it FAILED because you can’t kill a poster (Duh!), unfortunately for Wario, he is stupid, so he didn’t know that. Miyamoto thought he could make a shame about killing Luigi. When he created the game, he realized everybody (except for Wario) loved Luigi, so the game would be hated by Everybody. He was right.

Release

For some really stupid reason, Nintendo decided that this game would be the only one that they would talk about at their upcoming E3 presentation. When the day came and a 3-hour trailer for the game was played, everybody got super pissed and stormed out to protest at Nintendo headquarters. Unfortunately for them, a level 3 sentry was placed near the entrance to the headquarters, so nobody could get past it.
