Digimon, digital monsters, are a species of knockoff in the UnWorld. They were originaly based on Tamagotchis, but everyone thought they were rip off Pokemon. Unlike Pokemon, they actually talk instead of saying their names over and over. They also actually kill each other, evolve temporarily, and they have a tendency to look very different from Pokémon, often resembling a human in a costume, even all of its Digimon species has the word ''mon'' at the every end of their names with no exception.
Pokémon hate these guys for ripping them off, they're so mad at them that they've almost hunted every Digimon to death save for a few. The ones that are left made replicas of their old friends, so even if you see a Digimon, because of Pikachu, it's probably just a fake. Who knows how many real digimon exist, Pokémon also hates these guys for Agumon being identical to Charmander (look at their faces between these 2) and how one DigiDestined trainer, Tai Kamiya gone older compared to Ash Ketchum, which he is still 10 in every damn series!
Now that's one way to say ''Gotta rip 'em off!''
