That's too many Cyndaquils
Cyndaquil's Adventure is a weird 3rd party Shame intended to be made for the Game Boi Advance, but it was released on the Nintendo DS instead in 2005, it stars Cyndaquil as he does whatever you can think of, except for shutting up.
Story[]
Apparently, all the ants have been captured by ninjas, so Cyndaquil has to save his lunch.
Shameplay[]
Cyndaquil walks from screen to screen, in generic Australian deserts with saguaro cacti for some reason, you fight enemies like Fimbles, Polofs and Bees while collecting Australian 5 cent coins, at the end of all stages but the last, he fights Professor Oak for his affiliations with the ninjas. At the end you fight Ninja Teletubby, and then take off his hood, revealing him to be the pest control, Cyndaquil then kills him, but all the ants die too, so he starves.
Cyndaquil's moveset is as follows:
- D-Pad Up - Jump
- D-Pad Down - Crouch
- D-Pad Left/Right - Move
- A - Spit fireball
- B - Guard
- Y - Spines
- Y + A - Rolling fireball
- L/R (with non-filled gauge) - Spine shoot
- L/R (with full gauge) - Flamethrower Screen Wipe
You fill a gauge to do the last move by killing enemies, also, Cyndaquil always shout Australian slang to annoy you.
Reception[]
The shame had a poor reception thanks to many problems, but one big one was Cyndaquil never being quiet, though Biased Ratings gave it a 10/10 because they loved the noise.
