Unfortunately he is a evil sports car and betrayed Spongebob by calling the Krusty Krab tacky and disgusting and attempted to enslave Spongebob. Spongebob tried to go to the Krusty Krab, but Coupe forbid him to. Spongebob corrupts Coupe's technology by using a triple Krabby Patty with five scoops of ice cream. So Coupe were reprogrammed as a kiddie ride. Coupe wanted to destroy the Krusty Krab and called it tacky until Mr. Krabs heard him and gets angry and smashed him with a mallet. So Mr. Krabs put Coupe in the trash until Viacom stole the smashed Coupe and take him to their lair
