Brook is a skeleton pirate musician with an afro that is in the Straw Hat Pirates, and also stars in the anime One Piece.
Appearance[]
He is a skeleton with an afro and a top hat, like the kind magicians wear, which is funny, since he's actually a musician not a magician. He wears a tuxedo, with an orange collar, purple beads, and a blue tie. He also has a crack on his skull and a rip on his left sleeve.

Backstory[]
Brook was a happy pirate musician, back in the 1500s or something on a happy pirate ship. One day, he ate a Wumpa Fruit. That fruit gave him the powers to revive when he's dead, like a second chance or respawn ability... (that would come in use later, DUN DUN DUN) He was healthy until an awful storm came, but still happy. The storm started with gentle wind, and slowly became more and more violent until it started to harm the members of the ship. The gentle wind would knock over papers. The storm would next give crew members the Flu. Like ten members died from the Flu. It then started destroying the ship, and even blew it to some random place in the ocean that is a whirlpool shaped like the Triforce. The ship somehow survived, but it slowly killed every single member. Brook and the remaning members would play music until they died. It is remarkable how they continued to stay happy even though they would soon die. And they did die. Everyone on that ship. It was an unused pirate ship, filled with dead corpses.
However, Brook died but his soul was still on UnEarth, rather than in Heaven or Hell. His soul was searching for his body for a year before he found the sea triangle that the ship where his body was stuck on. At that moment his soul finally found his body after searching for what seemed an endless amount of time. But by the time he came back to his body, he was a skeleton! So he is a walking, living skeleton, that can somehow perform the actions a regular human can do but without organs, for example, he can think despite not having a brain. This is because of the magic of the Wumpa Fruit.
He stayed on that ship, waiting for someone to rescue him. And then someone did rescue him! Luffy and his pirate crew saw him and rescued him. Everyone in the crew except for Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were so scared they pissed and crapped their pants. Luffy then asked Brook if he can be in their pirate crew, and Brook said yes.
While with Luffy and the crew, Brook discovered one of his soul abilities...

- Cold Blade - freezes you and cuts you with his magic sword
- Soul Escape - his soul can leave his body at any time he likes, and he will become a ghost.

- His afro is still connected to his head even after he died because he has strong roots in his hair apparently.
