The Black Puddle Queen is a weird, tail-less mermaid (although she looks more like an alien) from Nowhere who can appear out of any body of water and drag people to their death. Although she primarily eats human flesh, she is very picky about it (kind of like the infamous Jimmy Carter Peanut). She only likes men. Straight men, if you wanna be specific. Despite this odd dietary choice, she's not a homophobe, she just flirts with her victims beforehand and her Idiot Manipulation powers don't work on Gay Bowsers.
This made for a very awkward encounter when she tried this on Nick Nack, who she later learned was her thrice-removed cousin's boyfriend. "Erm, what the sigma?" she said when he suddenly walked in on her giving Nick the bedroom eyes while he was trying to take a shower. She nearly got Blasted before Nightmarionne realized that the Black Puddle Queen was just doing Black Puddle Queen things. He then let her hang out for a while, and she gave Nick a Sandvich as an apology (she can cook a mean sandvich).
She once tried to seduce Katz, but he was too distracted by his spiders to pay attention to her. She tried Di Lung, too, but found him too stupid and insufferable to flirt with. She's too much of a chicken to try messing with King Ramses, because she actually saw those grave robbers get eaten alive by locusts and didn't want any of that. She knew Velvet Vic was with, uh... that, so she just avoided him like the plague. Freaky Fred was a no-go, too, because he'd probably cut all her hair off. Needless to say, there weren't many options in The Middle of Nowhere after Courage gave her the boot from his place. This is why she's now a traveler, a wanderer, and a queen with no domain.
