Big The Cat (not to be confused w/ Big) is a morbidly obese cat who is most well known for starring in and subsequently tanking the reputation of the 1998 shame Sonic Adventure. A social recluse, Big rarely fraternizes with people his age, instead choosing to exclusively hang around little girls and his pet frog, Froggy, who secretly hates him and constantly tries to escape from his grasp.
History[]
Early Life[]
Big The Cat was born to an unknown female cat who abandoned him in the middle of the woods of Pee Pee Island for reasons just as unknown as her identity. For the first few days of his life, Big was all alone; that all changed, though, when he was discovered by a ThunderClan hunting patrol and taken in by them. It was in the clan that he was given his first name: Small The Cat. Small lived with ThunderClan until he turned 8, when they kicked his ass out for being too stupid and weirdly humanoid. Distraught at being abandoned in the woods (again), Small turned to fishing to cope. He also decided to change his name from Small to Big due to his rapid growth as a result of eating too much fish.
One day, while Big was out fishing, he reeled in a frog. At first, Big was planning on eating him; however, the frog managed to escape, but not for long, as Big captured him again shortly afterwards. However, for some random reason, he decided against eating him, and instead chose to keep him as a pet, giving him the creative name "Froggy". Froggy never forgot Big's initial attempt to eat him, though, and to this day, he continues to try to escape from him, albeit with little success.
Going on an Adventure[]
It all started like any other day in the uneventful life of Big The Cat; Froggy was attempting to escape to the pond from which he came, when suddenly, he noticed a peculiar gemstone lying on the ground, and swallowed it just as Big got up to try and catch him. Not mentally ready to be dumped again, Big would waste the next few days chasing after Froggy, only for him to lose him again every time he caught him. Eventually, Froggy wound up in the loving hands of E-102 Gamora, one of Dr. Eggman's robots, leading Big to board his airship and "save" him, but not before fighting Chaos, Eggman's pet god of death. After a sorry excuse for a boss fight, Big found Tails' plane and decided to steal it, flying back to his shack in the rainforest and marking the end of Froggy's escape attempt.
After the Adventure[]
Since returning home, Big hasn't done much other than fishing and preventing Froggy from escaping. He's gone on a few other brief adventures, but all of them have been to retrieve Froggy. He's also made friends with both Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit, both of whom are canonically young girls.

As stated earlier, Big is a social recluse, meaning that sightings of him are fairly rare; however, he has been spotted at the following locations:
- Egypt
- An abandoned space station
- One of Bowser's seven Koopa Hotels
- The Bass Pro Shops pyramid
- Bikini Bottom
- SeaWorld
- Your Mom's bedroom (ZING!)
