64's Castle Invasion is a shame made by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It stars 64 as an amazonian princess (even though he's a dude) who is storming Bowser's Castle. It is the first installment in the Castle Invasion Series, and it is also the last installment of said series. A variation called "64's Castle Infiltration" was made, but Nobody bought it because it was a crappier version of the original.
Plot[]
DESTRUCTION... DEVASTATION... APOCALYPSE... WORLD DOMINATION... These are things that have absolutely nothing to do with this shame. The shame starts off with 64 hanging out in the Amazon, which is in Africa for some reason. Then Bowser walks up and starts lighting trees on fire. Smokey Bear walks up and give the player a twenty minute lecture about forest fires. After the lecture is over, Bowser is long gone. 64 kills Smokey and runs off to find Bowser. This leads him to the Bowser City,North Hyrule where Bowser is hiding in his castle.
64 fights through the castle in an unstoppable rampage, only stopping for a bathroom break twice throughout the entire shame (something other shames seem to forget). 64 eventually confronts Bowser, where Bowser reveals he is 64's father! While 64 tries to comprehend this lie, Bowser makes his escape. True to Bowser's fighting style, he goes to hide in a different castle. Seven castles and 22 bathroom breaks later, 64 finally has Bowser cornered. During the final boss fight, 64 butchers Bowser with a Tommy Gun but FAILs. The two fight each other. In the end, Bowser tosses 64 to Spain.
Shameplay[]
The shame is a first person shooter. This means you shoot lotsa stuff, and the camera is surgically embedded in the main character's face. The shame is basically a rip off of Call of Ducky, but with real time strategy and Realistic stuff elements mixed in. Besides the part where you kill that stupid bear, every level consists of breaking into some form of castle and shooting at all of the goombas. Occasionally you will meet a koopa. The koopas can bounce bullets off of their shells. That's when you switch to the flamethrower. In summary, there's no such thing as too much asplosions.
Reception[]
The shame was received surprisingly positively. That's especially impressive when you realize the shame is about a crossdressing princess dude from a rainforest that's basically a clone of Call of Ducky. The shame made OVER 9000 dollars for Nintendo. $356,196,390,251 to be exact. It also got a thumbs up from Facebook and a tweet on Twitter. There are even rumors that Angry Video Game Nerd kinda liked it a little bit, but it's probably a myth.
Rating[]
- ESRB: E for ASPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSIONS!
